BOOKS, BEARS & BONNETS, INC.™ donates whimsical gift boxes to bring smiles to children and adults fighting cancer.
Merrily A. Ansell founded our organization in February, 2000 in memory of her sister, Emily, who lost her 4-1/2 year battle with uterine cancer and who died on June 5, 1999.
Our mission is to elevate the spirit and strengthen the resolve of individuals who are on a life-saving journey.
Happy 11th Anniversary!
This year marks the 11th Anniversary of the inception of Books, Bears, & Bonnets, Inc. ! I vividly remember the day I decided to create comforting, whimsical gift boxes to bring entertainment and pleasure to individuals fighting cancer and, with the help and support of friends and family, bringing our gift boxes to any hospital that requested them. Now, 21,000 gift boxes later and surviving a recession, we made it to 11 years! Thank to everyone who made this possible. We look forward to our next 11 years and bringing smiles.
